Hidden Young People
You may have seen the launch of our newest report Hidden: Who are ‘hidden’ young people and why are they not engaging with welfare support? last week. The report identifies a number of reasons young people may become ‘hidden’, steps that can be put in place to avoid this and suggests actions that can be taken to support those who are already ‘hidden’. Click here to view a summary of the results and download the report.

Talent Coaches learn from each other at quarterly forum
Our Talent Coaches were given the chance to learn from each other on a number of areas during their latest Forum. Presentations were given by Talent Coaches for Talent Coaches on an area of their expertise in order to share learning with others. Many thanks to all the Talent Coaches involved for their support. Click here to read a summary of the day.

What are we doing in your local area?
We published our Local Area Report recently, which covers the level of beneficiary engagement with the programme in each Greater Manchester local authority. It includes the numbers engaged, Talent Coach coverage, job outcomes and information about the young people supported. Click here to download the report.

My Story: People involved in the programme

Martin Gallagher is the director of the GPL Group, a civil engineering company based in Salford. He worked with Talent Coach Graham Cooper at The Broughton Trust to run an apprenticeship programme for ten young people from the area. He shares his learning from the process (Spoiler alert! It was really positive).
