A spotlight on hidden young people
Our research on Hidden young people continues to cause a splash across Greater Manchester with two blog posts delving further into the area. The first, a guest blog from GMYN looks at the role Greater Manchester Talent Match plays in supporting hidden young people and the second, a blog on website 'Youth and Policy' looks at the impact policy changes have on them.

Greater Manchester Talent Match Opportunities Hub

The Greater Manchester Talent Match Opportunities Hub is the place to find holistic support, guidance and advice in your journey to being work-ready. New opportunities are added every day including work experience, training, apprenticeships, events and job fairs, volunteering opportunities and more. In this section of the e-news our Opportunities Hub staff pick out their top three current opportunities:

Exclusive Opportunity: World of Work visit at BAM Construct
There are still a few spaces left on this opportunity exclusive to young people on the programme. Learn about the variety of careers within the construction industry, meet young peopel already working in construction and discover upcoming opportunities.

Uniquely Us Project
The Uniquely Us project is run by a young woman from the Greater Manchester Talent Match programme. It is a brand new project developed by an autistic woman for autistic women. If you are interested in learning new skills in drama and building your confidence, this is the opportunity for you. Starts October 2017.

Fastlaners Employability Programme
Fastlaners is a free programme designed to help you get the job you love. Over eight days full of workshops and networking sessions, followed by six months of one-to-one support
