Greater Manchester Talent Match is a Big Lottery- funded programme bringing together the private, public and voluntary sectors to support young people aged 18 - 24 who have been out of employment, education or training for twelve months or more and who need extra support to help them along their pathway to work. Youth Panel Meeting

Youth Panel working with Jobcentre Plus
The youth panel, supported by Youth Employment UK, have identified services delivered by Jobcentre Plus (JCP) as an area they want to influence. The aims of this project are to support JCP in improving services for young people and to support disengaged young people. Face-to-face interviews with young people will begin in May alongside a survey. 

Stakeholder Consultation - Executive Summary
GM Talent Match commissioned Shared Future CIC and Reason Digital to review the development of a GM-wide online resource for employment and support.

Local Area Impact Report
The Local Area Impact Report is produced quaterly, and provides information about the level of beneficiary engagement with GM Talent Match in each GM Local Authority. 

Hidden young people workshop at the March Main Forum

March Main Talent Coach Forum
The main afternoon activity allowed Talent Coaches to play both expert and questioner as they moved around the room, tackling a number of topics in relation to supporting young people. The morning's sessions included a 'Now Hiring' workshop on Health and Social Care, and a consultation on aspects of our legacy.

Nicola Jacques

Youth Panel member and ex-GM Talent Match beneficiary Nicola Jacques has been offered a six month placement with Manchester City Council. Click here to read about how Nicola helped to improve the accessibility of the council's apprenticeship vacancies to people with disabilities.

This is a 10-week programme for women who have been/ are involved in domestic violence and abuse. 

Arts Award Drop in Sessions with Contact Mcr
Explore and develop your creative skills and become a creative leader. 

Adult Dyslexia Support Project
Manchester City Council in partnership with Advantage-Dyslexia is funding a pilot for potential Aduly Dyslexia Projects in South Manchester. They're looking to engage with adults who may have dylexia, but haven't had the opportunity to have advice or support.

The Big Lottery is developing a programme to help young people overcome barriers to employment. They are currently seeking responses to their Stakeholder Survey. CLICK HERE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SURVEY.

Working Well Early Help
GMCVO is promoting the opportunity to partner with Lead Bidders applying for Working Well Early Help. This is an early support programme for people who have recently become unemployed or are at risk of being unemployed because of a health condition. More information about the programme can be found here. To express your interest in working with Lead Bidders follow this link (deadline is April 27th).
