Greater Manchester Talent Match (GMTM) is a Big Lottery- funded programme bringing together the private, public and voluntary sectors to support young people aged 18 - 24 who have been out of employment, education ot training for twelve months or more and who need extra support to help them along their pathway to work. A second round of mental health training for talent coaches
33% of GMTM beneficiaries have experienced mental ill health so we have been working with Mind to provide mental health support. Mind have responded to talent coach feedback and are now offering four further training courses throughout September & October:
• Youth Mental Health First Aid training
• Connect 5 training (to increase the
confidence & skills of front line staff about mental health)
• Resilience training
