Sarah Gray, our Volunteering Development Officer has been supporting Greater Manchester Talent Match young people on Breakthrough’s pathway course by delivering Introduction to Volunteering sessions.

The sessions look at what is involved in volunteering and explores the variety of volunteering that young people can take part in as well as looking at the benefits of volunteering. They are delivered in a fun and interactive way and the last session included playing volunteering Pictionary and charades!

Neil McRobert Pathway Co-ordinator said “Sarah has done a few sessions, for various client groups on the Pathway course. Volunteering is hugely valuable for both independent living and employability and Sarah’s sessions got this point across in a fun, energetic and perfectly-pitched way.”

Sarah is available to deliver group sessions on volunteering to host organisations, these sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of Talent Match young people and can be delivered from wherever is most convenient for Talent Coaches and young people. If you would like to find out more about these group sessions then get in touch with Sarah by emailing sarah.gray@gmyn.co.uk
