Holding Families Peer Mentor Volunteers @ Early Break, Bury
At Early Break we have got numerous ways in which you can help out and get involved with our charitable work. Volunteering is a popular choice for many people as it is a fantastic way of supporting a local charity and is a brilliant way of giving back to the community.
There are many other benefits to volunteering and we are keen to support volunteers at Early Break. We can offer many opportunities to individuals such as learning new skills and developing current ones, specialist training, meeting new people and being able to get hands-on with some front-line experience. Not only are all these a fun way to spend any spare time you may have but they are excellent additions to your CV.
As a Holding Families Peer Mentor you will work with our Holding Families teams in Bury and Rochdale to mentor and support service users who are going through the programme.
Holding Families aims to help families with problems associated with significant parental substance misuse, where children and adults needs are dealt with and responded to at the same time.
Learn new skills and develop current ones, attend specialist training, meet new people and get hands-on with some front-line experience.
