Moving On Group @ Back on Track
This is a Work Club specifically for adults (over 18) that have been going through a period of resettlement in their lives. This may be because they have had problems in the past with drugs, alcohol, persistent and enduring mental ill-health, homelessness or have criminal convictions.
We provide training on the key transferable skills that employers look for when they are recruiting, including; communication skills, team working and planning and organising. They will also be given assistance with CV and letter writing, application forms and interview techniques. We will invite guest speakers from other relevant agencies to address the group on a regular basis so that they can make informed decisions about their future plans.
We also offer our clients volunteering and work placement opportunites to help build confidence and work experience. All clients will be given individual information, advice and guidance to help them set realistic goals for their progression that will form part of their action plan. They will be supported to work towards and achieve their objectives to build their confidence so that they can take their next steps towards gaining sustainable employment
If you are interested in attending this work club please call Back on Track first as you will need to register beforehand.
