Arts Volunteering Opportunities for Young People @ The Whitworth

Opportunity Provider: The Whitworth

The Whitworth has various interesting and exciting opportunities for young people to get involved in.  Please see a brief outline of what's available with Whitworth Young Contemporaries below, if you're interested please contact Sally to find out more.

You can join their core group of young people (aged 15-25) who usually come together fortnightly and take part in creative workshops and help programme events for other young people. This will give you the opportunity to develop creative skills and specific event management skills. It isn’t a set volunteer programme and is quite informal but there is the opportunity to learn new skills, have fun and meet new people.

Whitworth on Fire a group of 15-25 year olds who are training to become circus performers.

Attendees at WYC Presents, which are the quarterly events produced by the Whitworth Young Contemporaries core group. They feature experiments in music, art, performance and spoken word. These events will be produced by young people, for young people and are open to all.
