Talk English Courses in South Manchester

Talk English works with people with low levels of English to help them improve their language skills, access services and get more involved in the community.

On our Talk English Courses, which are taught by trained volunteers, people can improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • have little or no English language skills (Pre-entry - Entry 1 ESOL)
  • be aged 19 and above
  • be not in employment or actively seeking employment, i.e. not on JSA.

Courses are not accredited and do not count towards citizenship, however learners will receive an internal certificate recognising their attendance and achievement at the end of the course. 

Courses run weekly during term time until the end of March 2016 at the following venues in South Manchester:
