Youth Employability and Skills at The Lowry
The Lowry’s Youth Employability & Skills (Y.E.S) programme uses the inspirational venue and staff members to work with ‘NEET’ and ‘At Risk’ young people aged 13-19yrs from Salford and beyond. The Y.E.S project will help them to build their confidence, find their focus and take their next step either into employment or back into education.
What are the aims?
To provide free opportunities for young people from Salford and beyond to develop themselves, their skills and ultimately their employability.
Who is it for?
Young people aged 13 – 19 from Salford and beyond, who are not in employment, education or training or who are at risk of being so. There are opportunities for individuals to engage in bespoke placements or for existing groups to engage in short term training.
